From June 26 to 28, the capital of Bashkortostan hosted the X Forum of the regions of Russia and Belarus. Ufa became the fourth city after Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi, which had the opportunity to host an event of this level.
Guests from different cities could purchase unique souvenir products, taste the national cuisine of the peoples of Russia, participate in various master classes, attend music festivals. An international sports festival was also held during the forum, in which 372 schoolchildren took part. Guys from Belarus, Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics, the Republic of Crimea and Bashkortostan joined the fight for medals.
"The Republic of Bashkortostan has long been the region where the main sporting events of the country are held. In 2022, we held the International School Sports Festival "Russia-Belarus" at the highest level and welcomed guests from friendly countries with special hospitality. I am sure that this year the festival will again become a bright sporting event and will contribute to strengthening ties and friendship between our countries," said Ruslan Khabibov, Minister of Sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
