I decided to go to Bashkiria after I saw the beauty of these places on TV on the Rossiya channel. After consulting with our friend, we decided to give up in Ufa. There was a choice. which hotel to book. After reading a lot of reviews on different hotels, the choice fell on the Amaks hotel. There were many "advantages" in favor of this hotel. Firstly, the hotel is a network hotel, which means it must keep the brand of the Amaks chain. Secondly, breakfast is a buffet.. This is similar to Turkey, which was once again closed due to the coronavirus pandemic (we were in Ufa from May 11 to 18, 2021). Thirdly, the friendly hotel staff, which I read about in all previous reviews. And fourthly, the price is affordable for two people, which has also been reduced due to cashback when paying with a Mir card. And we were not mistaken in choosing this hotel!
We arrived in Ufa early in the morning, at 6:50 a.m. What surprised us already at the airport was that we didn't have to wait for our luggage, as in other cities, for about an hour. As soon as we got off the plane and entered the baggage room, we saw that our luggage was already waiting for us on the tape. Two buses 101 and 110 from the airport in Ufa were also already at the stop and waiting for passengers.
Since the Amaks Hotel is 5-7 minutes away.from the bus station, we took a bus for 54p. we got to the Bus Station stop and easily found this hotel. Upon entering the AMAKS building, we saw a young receptionist at the reception desk, who served us very kindly. It was nice that he gave us a magnet from the hotel with a view of Ufa and, despite the early hour (it was 9 a.m.), gave us the keys to our room. In addition, we asked if we could go to breakfast right away, and received a positive response. The young man said that we could take our things to the room and then go down to the restaurant for breakfast.
The breakfast was also varied and delicious. There were dishes with sliced vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes), cheese, ham, broth, porridge, omelet, cutlets, casserole, cottage cheese, boiled eggs, butter, sour cream, jam, various pastries, delicious yogurt, fruit drinks, tea, coffee. I have been to Turkey many times and noticed to myself that breakfast here is no worse than abroad.
There were few customers in the hotel restaurant during the first two days. But then athletes arrived- schoolchildren and adults. And there was already a queue for breakfast in the morning. It should be noted that if some dishes ran out, then others, no less delicious, were immediately brought out. Fried chicken legs and thighs, sausages, and fish with sauce were added to the main dishes. Everything was delicious!
If during the day someone needed to have lunch or dinner at the hotel, then you could also eat at the restaurant for 500 rubles.
The menu featured 4 lunch/dinner options. Well, if it seems expensive, then you can go eat at a cafe near the hotel. There were also coolers with hot and cold water on each floor, and at any time you could make yourself a cup of tea or just drink cold water, which was important, since the air temperature outside exceeded 30 degrees during our stay. in the shadows. We were lucky: our room was next to the elevator, and the water cooler was directly opposite. The room was cleaned every day. Our room was large and spacious, with a TV and a refrigerator. The only negative for me was that there was a strong smell of cigarettes in the room, apparently the people living in front of us were smoking in the room. But this question is already for those who come here.
The kindness and courtesy of all the hotel staff was felt everywhere. When we asked at the reception how to get to the historical sites of the city, the receptionist gave us a map of the city and wrote on it which bus numbers go to specific places. The Amaks Hotel and the hotel staff left a very good impression. And if we ever come to Ufa again, we will definitely come back here. And we recommend this hotel to everyone, you won't regret it!!! I wish you all a good rest!
